I thought being a single vampire was challenging. I had no idea.

As if my murderous maker being still at large isn't stressful enough, Alex wants us to meet each other's parents. As per vampire law, I've let mine consider me dead since my turning, but Constantine, my ex and newest member of the vampire council, is suspiciously quick to allow a visit. Perhaps because he knows more about my family than I do.

But as always in Cherry-land, one problem isn't enough. Alex's increasing jealousy of Constantine leads to violent outbursts completely unlike his usual mild manner, there are reports of attacks on women matching my description in the area, family secrets come to light, and feelings I shouldn't be having are messing with my mind.

I need to sort things out, and soon, before I lose Alex for good—worse, before he turns on me.
